This is one of the BIG questions I am asked all the time.

• How do i get traffic?

• How do i get cheap traffic?

• How do i get free traffic?

In order to determine the BEST way to use your money wisely in getting a lot of traffic without spending a lot of money, is to first look at your market and see if you can find some loopholes.

For example… lets say you are going to market shakira concert tickets.

An example of a loophole could be the fact that youtube has top rankings for the term shakira.  One could post a video comment and give away a concert ticket in effort to get people to your site.  Naturally they would put thier name and email in to enter thus building you a list.

This is a hypothetical example and im not even sure if youtube allows that… but you get the idea.

There are other loopholes that can be found by doing searches on the search terms you want and seeing who comes up… you can buy ads or do JV’s with people.

Earlier this year I bought ads on the number one site for a hugely popular and insanely competetive search term.  I was able to get the ads for about $1100 – $2000 per month and they got me about 30-40,000 visitors each month.  Thats what I call cheap traffic

So look for loopholes in your market… find out who is ranked and how you can use it to your advantage.

Another way to get traffic cheap is to use exsisting sites to rank on the search engines.  The search engines love big popular sites.  If you can “hitch a ride” you can get those sites to rank for you.

Sites that work well for this are:

Squidoo

Youtube

Social Networking Site

Craigslist

Just make sure you follow each sites rules

Then of course there is the last method I am going to post… that is the ole flip the market.  Find some cheap traffic that you can convert and get interested in what you are marketing.  Buy it and convert it.
