How to choose which key words is best to compiled, when doing a keyword search? Is it the keywords with the most monthly search for example 1,000,000 and up, or a lower number. Most of us are very confuse about deciding, to much information and no straight answer.I am still trying to decide when less competion is best or better… How is important is a squeezed page or front load page in any webpage. What I think would be good for a video is to have a video of you and one of your students who has made it with your system to show the others that it does work, I think that it would inspire everyone to get out there and make it, also it would show the possible new customers there are people making it with the setup you sell. Which is the best for the money as far as I am concerned, the best buy to me, that there is.

I have your course SSV1 and Potpie girls Squidoo course and still can’t figure it out on my own. I just can’t seem to find everything I need in one course, that is written for the absolute total internet marketing newbie!
All the newbie courses appear to be just enough to leave you confused and in need of buying he next level $1200 plus coaching program to really get you started.
I am just so over whelmed, but I will keep trying to figure it out on my own, until I can afford the one on one coaching program for idiots like me.

If I could see how Marcus finds a few niches ‘free-style’ with Keyword Elite, builds a website and markets through ppc or social media (squidoo, hubpages, ezinearticles) and see how they progress ‘in real time’ to becoming profitable, I think that would benefit me the most.
It would have to be a video on just how to promote a site. Start To Finnish I Think its the most misunderstood subject and traffic is obviously the most needed subject there is online. Once you have it your set. If you dont have it your finnished.

Marcus, I think you refunded my money to the cartagsonline.com thing that you wrote to me about, but I never heard back from you on if you did or what happened… I have not been doing anything with the websites as I became extremely discouraged from what I was encountering. I was wanting something that you had going to start working for me, but you were too busy to work with me at the time. I would like to get you some ideas that you are asking here because that is what I feel I have a knack for. So here it goes, what I personally am looking for in a site generating money is, something sort of laid out, not so complicated with no more money needing to be spent out here and there like I encountered with your program. It is nice seeing how you figure out what you are going to build a site about, as I saw in your program, but for a beginner, it has to have an end to all the madness… If there were a simple site that could be laid out with a hands on approach with your assistance to just show a complete simple guideline for a completely functional money generator you would capture many more onlookers who think your system has potential, they just have to be shown in a small way what can come from working in a direction where something can materialize from the efforts.

You’ve done well with simple sites… But you should pull out a new 2.0 advanced program…. Simple sites is for the beginners…. Once they graduate, then what is next? You need a 2.o0 advanced BIG MONEY program… Then all your old customers would re join!

I think assigning us mini projects to learn and build confidence or just to kick start us. Fo example, taking off on one of your suggestions to me yesterday, start a squidoo or a blog with a resale rights product. Giving away a little at a time but offering the whole book as a download. It would 1. get us going, 2. teach us basics of blog 3. Teach us to do a paypal process to pay and download. 3. Build a list if we add a freebie or something. etc…
Another example maybe assigning a mini project where everybody does the same thing, a simple site with a landing page, thank you page, download page, about me page. Using the same templates. Keyword tracking with PHP.Using the sametemplates and ftp to a host site. the we just do what we have done with the niches we choose. And a step back, maybe we even all do the same keyword research. Then comapre notes at the ned of the week, session, or …

The next video is a no brainer, Your overview video of SSBP is long but told us what to expect and what we would recieve.Why not take the same approach here. I think what would help me the most is having someone who has been through the ‘Simple Sites’ program and has made it work to be “buddied” with for say the first 30 days to a newbie; someone like a sponsor whom you can ask your questions to, who can clarify things the newbies ( like me!!) aren’t quite clear about…., let’s face it Marcus, YOU are one busy man and only one of you to go around!! What better way to build up the core of Simple Sites than to have the experienced help the new comers??
Also, I think it would help those starting out to have a “checklist” of what they would need to get going- for example, you need a program to build your websites with, you need a good keyword tool, etc.
A video to help those struggling semi-newbies “put all of the pieces together”. A “single” cradle-grave video to let us watch as you conceive, plan, research, construct, develop,and publish a “live” SSBP affiliate(or search)project. Take us to the sites with you, show us the tools you use, show us how you link everything together.

First off I would like to tell you that I have gained a lot of useful knowledge from my simple sites membership and the intensive2 course. You do answer your phone. I appreciate your patience and being generous with your time and knowledge.
While I do not know exactly what I need to do, at this time, in order to make any money online I am further ahead of the learning curve now than I was several months ago. The whole online money making subject can be very confusing, it is either getting less overwhelming, or I am getting more focused. Either way life is better and I am still learning.
If I was to make a suggestion it would be instead you bypassing a method or tip during your videos and promising to put something at the bottom of the video go ahead and take the time to explain it when you think of it. I would not mind watching an hour long video if you would give all the details relating to the subject.

I have a website where the index page is the landing page. This page invites people to view the second page (education page) where valuable free information is offered. This page will inform and help in the catagorization of complaints associated with spinal pain. This education page suggests that the next page (fee page) will provide information to “self-treat”. This fee page offers unique informtion. All pages are repleat with text and video.
The use of aWeber and the use of secure access is the challanging area. Should I use “email” capture to gain access to the free education page or combined with the paypal step to gain access to the fee page? I am also uncertain when to use the autoresponder? Should this be to promote the pay site? or as an ongoing enhancement to support and empower an ongoing relatinship with paid customers? I am using photobucket to host my videos. The videos are listed as private. I assume noone has access. The fee page is accessed via a paypal account. I think my struggle is to secure the site and how to organize my aWeber account that makes sense.

I am not much interested in the $100 or $50 you offer. I feel there are many of us who are not interested in such offers. Neither am I interested in making millions! What I am really interested in and I have not found so far any where, is for some one like you to realize what a newbie like me is: very little or no knowledge of how to build a mini or simple web site from scratch FREE. Most of the time the “FREE” I have found out and still finding out, is just to click and then come to the exclusive clubs, golden clubs and personal coaching etc.etc. where I am expected to spend hundreds of dollars. To me this will be the first step which gives me confidence that I can build a mini or simple site. Then I would be interested in finding niches, key words, SEO etc.
I know you can do it. Sometimes it is great to just do it not for money but to be gracious and helpful. I would certainly do it if I had your expertise and money!

The sad truth is I have not made the time to move forward with your program. I’ve taken some steps, but being a dad/husband and with a full time job and home reponsibilities has quite a pull. Even if I want to spend time each day working to make money online, others would rather have me mowing the lawn, fixing this or that.
Bottom line I don’t succeed because I haven’t committed.

The trend with other “How to make money online” Entrepreneurs is they let you try the system for a dollar,for 7 days or a month. I have seen some of them provide a sure way to make a lot of “small change” till they can afford the big show.
The economy stinks,and most people would have to use their Bill money(which no one should ever do) to invest in even your program. So maybe if you had a feeder income stream, more people could step up to your bigger deal.

I would be interested to know about free tools to record audios and videos (if available)…(or at least inexpensive tools) … and how to upload those audios and videos to a website. I want to be able to have the little silvery thingy on the website where you click for the audio, and I want to have videos that don’t take a lifetime to load, and that will play all the way through. I’ve been running into a lot of videos lately that just sit there, or get stuck part way through. What’s the best format for reliable playing?
Also, personally, I don’t want to be blogging as well as putting up websites, but I think that one of the best ways to get traffic is through social networking. Given that we, as would be Internet Marketers, have an agenda (i.e. to get people to our site)… videos about how to set up Twitter and Facebook accounts (and others, if you think they are valuable to use), and how to use them so as not to offend, but to drive traffic – and perhaps how that might be interfaced with a website, would be very helpful. I don’t have any account – and I’m really nervous about how to do that – and do the set up right, or set up the profiles right to be able to move our business forward.
Lastly, on my list — how to set up Aweber autoressponders,

I haven’t got past learning how to build a website, I’ve read all the posted comments and there seems to be a wide range of problems people are having from newbies to advanced . Is it possible to have websites already made from start to finish? Then you could add or take away what you choose, you wouldn’t have to build only edit. This is what’s keeping me from going any further, as you can tell I’am a newbie.

I agree with Ben Kendall. After we purchase the SSBP if you could helps us to get our first Simple Site setup (help with choosing a good niche, getting the website/blog setup then then SEO/Adwords etc.) I think that would help us a lot. Especially if we started to make any kind of money, to me even if it just made $1 a day (I could learn from it).
I’ve gone one site up and running (http://www.thexbox360fix.com), but haven’t made anything yet off it and I’m not sure where the site needs work on. I’ve tried messing the Adwords and even edited the website it self a few times, and still no sale. I’m beginning to wonder if it was a bad niche to get into.

Well, I’ve gone through the steps, learnt and put up my first website filled with unique content from my own experiences.Having spent a lot of hours reading ebooks and watching help videos, I got pages up and indexed by the search engines, so far -so good.BUT……having got content up, there doesn’t seem anything around as to how to ‘ sell your affiliate links to products’ i.e. monetize your site?
This I think would be a good idea for your next video, together with maybe a brief look for promoting your site ideas. I.ve just started a blog at blogger.com to help promote my site http://GermanShepherdDogsNow.blogspot.com.
To all those who haven’t got a website up yet – I would just say spend time reading ebooks and watching videos to show you what to do – then just do it!!

Finally you must know a good programmer that can build a good website you should share their contact info so people do not have to even hassle with elance. Sounds like everybody wants you to build a sight for them. Publish a small list of what it takes to publish a web page “tools needed,stuff like that”. The rest really is up to us. If you can’t make money with this system go get a job.
the movie is TOMMY BOY for sure. As for the video idea. EVERY MEMBER MUST BUILD THE EXACT SAME SITE OR BLOG WITH A DIFFERENT WEBSITE NAME (of course). ask each member what they use to upload websites with. i use dreamweaver. then what ever is the most common, use that to start with. go thru step by step of how to build a website or blog with your choice book from clickbank, then upload it. Allow the members to help each other that want to or can. use the comment section under the video you post for this project for us to ask each other and answer questions as we get stuck or finnish. once everyones websites are up and running, we can then go from there looking at all the tools with actual info inside (good or bad) to adjust or tweek the website into submission. we should all use the exact same book, thus more people will have something to talk about tweeking their own and sharing what works and doesnt. it may not be to profitable of a site but it will give each person the exact base to think in the real instead of abstract or imagination as we are doing now. it will give us something that we can repeat with other books until that big idea comes down the pike.

Problem is, there is just too much information to learn all at once and I sadly get discouraged when I don’t know what my next step is. Your videos are great! This is my first time writing to you. I have been with your site for the for almost months and I can tell you right now your site is the closest thing that makes any kind of since that’s out there for a newbie (which I am one of them). Although I have not put up a site yet I understand the simple concepts.
What’s holding me back? I really had to think about this and be honest with myself.
1. Fear of failure and loosing money.
The loosing money thing is pretty stupid because I’m spending $97 a month (which I am scraping to do) on your site and every day I’m loosing money with me not doing what I need to do to make money.
2. Time issues
I work 10 hours a day. It’s hard to think productively and creatively when your beat.
3. Lack of daily routine or schedule
If I had a routine everyday it might help me stay focused. I don’t have a clear guide on what to do every day. Do you get up and do keywords everyday, look for trends…
4. Lack of knowledge
How things work like how to actually setup and affectively use auto responders.
Here’s one thing you might want to do is discuss how much money you might have to spend to actually get started. It’s not just subscribing to your site every month but it costs monthly for hosting, auto responders, domain names…
It all piles up and you have to make money to keep it going and still make profit.
I’ve spent a few hundred dollars on other programs since the beginning of this year and all I’ve done is lose money but I am learning and I will continue to learn until I get it and be able to quit my crappy job. Of all the other programs and e-books I have tried you are the one I learned from the most so I am sticking with you. I really don’t care about the 100 dollars, all I want is to be one of your success stories.

I believe you are using this as an experiment probably to check web traffic generated by that question. Ny guess would be that you checked the stats just prior to the question and then checked after the post by having us “google” in the key words you selected.
In any case, I would like to see a video showing one of your best students. Maybe an interview with that individual showing his success. Your videos are excellent and you have been at this a long time. I think that a video showcasing a “newbie” with success would be very motivational. Maybe outline his steps and perhaps even have a video clip of the individual outlining how he used your progam to achieve success. I would choose someone who had little or no computer background prior to purchasing your material, to show that anyone can truly do this. This would allow you to provide the steps a through z and motivate at the same time.
if you could make a video for different methods of “List” building.
in particular having our customers download a pdf from our site that we can update with content and related products.

It seems like there might be a possibility for web 2.0 sites to be helpful, but the only way I hear them mentioned is web 2.0 stuff. I think it might be helpful if I knew a little more detail about each site. Thanks for all your videos. I am so much better off for having hadaccess to them.

Doubt this will make your list,as I didn’t buy your program,(wasted 10 times that) and still have nothing. Hear of programs that cater to the “newbie” when in fact, most are not new to the net. Most people are close,if not already unemployed. We cannot afford the “mistakes” that cost money. Can one DETAILED ex. of how to build a site cut into your profits that much? People that see they can make it online would only increase your earnings in coaching/buying from you in the future.
Desperation causes many to make bad decisions,(like me). Most just want to be able to do this without losing our shirt.

I have learned so much from your program and to this date I have:
1) Signed up for hosting
2) Created a website containing 23 pages
3) Signed up with Affliate companies and have been accepted by: Google Adsense,
Google Affliates, Amazon, Affliates.com and Clickbank.
4) Created Ad Campaigns with Google to Advertise my website in search and in
the Content Network.
5) Worked the SEO steps to bring more traffic to my website.
My main problem is getting traffic to my site without having to pay an arm and a leg for Keyword Ad Campaigns. In one step of SEO you mention getting back links to your site to bring up your popularity ranking and therefore bring up your Google ranking. I have submitted my site to Directories and even created a “Link Partners” page on my site to get other sites to link to me offering reciprocal linking and have not been successful. My suggestion for a new video would be on how to get your site accepted by Directory sites and how to successfully set up reciprocal linking.
